POV: Why I AM Practicing Patience (More) As A Creative...

Practicing more patience allows me to excel in my creative projects.

I recently read a post asking readers to share strategies to overcome the anxiety that often happens from not having enough time to complete daily tasks. I immediately related to this post. Although I have established some productive routines, I still struggle with the fear that there isn't enough time to get everything done. It seems like for every task I complete, there are a million more waiting to be checked off.

The practice of patience has brought me the most peace. It allows me to complete my projects on time without feeling overwhelmed. It's become easier for me to identify more efficient ways of completing tasks. Working smarter, not harder, which realigns my focus on the real intention behind each creative project.

I practice patience by allowing myself pause and grace when needed. If I feel overwhelmed by my daily task list, I focus on two or three things that I must accomplish and take my time with those items. I then trust that whatever I didn't accomplish will fall into place at the proper time. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the weight and pressure of your daily tasks, try practicing patience by giving yourself more grace and prioritizing tasks which will help you excel creatively.

I know it takes a TON of patience and effort to build and grow your audience on social media so I wanted to share some useful tips on how to cultivate your audience more effectively.

Creative Strategy

How Being Your Authentic Self Can Help You Find Your Audience

Truly, being yourself is the only way to authentically grow your audience.

Now I know this whole 'do you and people will follow' advice isn't new. As someone in the content creation space, it seems like this is preached as much as 'finding your niche'. What I have found...changing how you view yourself and the value you provide in your content will attract the right audience to you.

I have come to realize that building communities across multiple channels requires me to be authentic and create content that I genuinely enjoy. Doing so helps me see the value in what I am doing, and my target audience is naturally drawn towards it.

The same can be said for when you're creating content as well.

You are the star of your content. You are writing, sharing, and creating all the things. The goal is to enjoy what you're doing rather than stress about trying to make it work. Allow yourself to shine in your content and watch your audience congregate around that.

Now, after expelling all this brain power I've found an immediate means to relax while scrolling in my downtime, and I'm excited to share it with you!
